1. Information We Collect
When you create a CPAprep account, we collect your name, email address, and username. We also collect usage data including study progress, exam results, flashcard interactions, and study streak information to provide and improve our services.
If you submit your email address to access free practice questions, we store your email and send a welcome email followed by periodic study tips. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link in each message.
We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data such as pages visited, browser type, device type, and general location. Google Analytics sets a client ID cookie to distinguish unique visitors. If you are logged in, we may associate analytics data with your account for the purpose of measuring advertising conversions. For details on how Google processes this data, see Google's Privacy Policy.
When you arrive from an advertisement, we capture marketing attribution data such as UTM parameters and Google click identifiers (gclid). This data is stored with your account and may be shared with Google Analytics 4 for conversion measurement.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the CPAprep service, process payments through Stripe, send study reminders and educational emails, improve our exam preparation content, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising through analytics and conversion tracking.
3. Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional emails, Cloudflare for security (Turnstile), and Google Analytics for website analytics and conversion measurement. Your study progress and exam results are completely private.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and study progress for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting support@arteura.com.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection. Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) are set only after you provide consent. We also store a marketing attribution cookie containing UTM parameters and Google click identifiers for up to 90 days. All non-essential cookies are blocked by default until you accept them. Declining cookies does not affect the functionality of the site.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile and change your password from the settings page. To request data export or account deletion, contact support@arteura.com.
