Critical Care Transport

Critical care paramedics move ICU-level patients between facilities, managing ventilators, infusions, and advanced monitoring. Certifications such as FP-C or CCP-C demonstrate expertise. Strong clinical judgment and pharmacology knowledge are essential.

Flight Paramedic

Flight programs usually require several years of ground experience and additional certifications. The work involves rapid scene response and interfacility transfers, often with a nurse partner. Physical fitness and safety awareness are critical.

Tactical and Special Operations

Tactical medics support law enforcement teams, providing care in high-threat environments. Training covers tactical combat casualty care, firearms safety, and teamwork. Competition is strong, so build a solid clinical foundation first.
