Sleep Consolidates Memory
Aim for seven to nine hours of sleep. During sleep the brain consolidates what you learned, so cutting sleep to study more often backfires. Keep a consistent schedule, especially in the week before the test.
Food and Hydration
Eat balanced meals with protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Avoid large sugar spikes that cause energy crashes. Stay hydrated, as even mild dehydration can affect concentration.
Move Your Body
Short bouts of exercise improve mood and focus. A brisk walk between study sessions can clear your head. Build breaks into your schedule, such as 5 minutes every 25 to 50 minutes.
