Content Areas
The EMT exam covers airway, respiration, and ventilation; cardiology and resuscitation; trauma; medical, obstetrics and gynecology; and EMS operations. Each area has a percentage range of the total.
Study Accordingly
Airway, respiration, and ventilation and cardiology generally represent a significant portion, so they should receive substantial study time. Do not ignore smaller areas, since adaptive testing evaluates competence across the board.
