Spot the Obvious Errors
Some options are unsafe, outside EMT scope, or irrelevant to the patient's condition. Remove these first. Answers that include absolute words like always or never are often incorrect.
Compare the Remaining Choices
Look for the option that addresses the primary problem. If the patient is not breathing adequately, ventilation beats nearly every other intervention. Ask what would hurt the patient if you got it wrong.
Trust Your Preparation
Do not overthink or change an answer unless you find a clear reason. Your first instinct is often based on trained pattern recognition. Practice elimination during study sessions to make it automatic.
