Getting Your Results
Results are typically available in your NREMT account within a few business days. You will see a pass or fail result and, if you did not pass, a performance report by content area.
Moving Toward Licensure
Passing the cognitive exam is one requirement. Your state may also require a psychomotor exam, background check, and an application with fees. Check your state EMS office for exact steps and timelines.
Keep Growing
After certification, maintain your credentials through continuing education and recertification requirements. Consider additional training in specialized areas, and stay current with guideline updates to keep your skills sharp.
