1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using FE Exam Prep (the "Service"), operated by Arteura ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
2. No Affiliation with NCEES
FE Exam Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). "FE," "Fundamentals of Engineering," and "NCEES" are registered trademarks of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. All references to these terms are for informational and descriptive purposes only.
Our study materials are independently developed and are not official NCEES products. We do not claim that our questions, flashcards, or exam simulations are identical to those on the actual FE examination. Our content is designed to help you prepare for the exam by covering the topics outlined in the publicly available FE exam specifications.
3. Account Registration and Security
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that your account information is inaccurate, that you have violated these terms, or that your account has been compromised.
4. Subscription and Payment
FE Exam Prep offers the following subscription tiers: Free, Full ($39.99/month), Annual ($249/year), and Lifetime ($399 one-time). Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) or as a one-time charge for Lifetime plans, until you cancel. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Prices are subject to change. We will notify you of any price changes before they take effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on FE Exam Prep, including but not limited to questions, answers, explanations, flashcards, exam simulations, articles, and design elements, is the intellectual property of Arteura and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, sell, license, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without our prior written permission.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your own individual exam preparation purposes. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow others to access the Service through your account.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, download, or otherwise extract content from the Service for redistribution or commercial use
- Share, publish, or distribute exam questions, answers, or explanations from the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Share your account credentials with any other person
- Use the Service to develop or improve a competing product
- Violate any applicable law or regulation while using the Service
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our study materials will result in passing the FE examination or any other certification exam. Exam outcomes depend on many factors beyond the scope of our Service, including your prior knowledge, study habits, exam-day performance, and the specific content of the exam you receive.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of our content, but we do not warrant that all information is error-free. NCEES may update its exam specifications, exam format, or policies at any time, and there may be a delay before our content reflects such changes. You are responsible for verifying current NCEES requirements and policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Arteura and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any consequences of failing the FE examination, including but not limited to retake fees, lost income, delayed career advancement, or emotional distress.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Arteura and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
